After earning her Master's Degree in Finance, Erika began her career in commercial banking, as a national market research analyst. In addition to providing research and analysis, Erika used her design aesthetic to create quality visual research and presentation materials (a website, quarterly outlook books, periodic research notes, and ad hoc presentations) for banking clients and senior management. A few years later, Erika began using her research skills and design eye to create unique collateral materials for new business owners, develop birthday party concepts for moms and wives looking for customized parties, and assist a few local artists visualize their branding ideas.
Today, Erika is dedicated to Teal Bird Concepts, and seeing to it that each client's visual branding is the perfect combination of the right MESSAGE, the right AUDIENCE, and the right DESIGN.
"I enjoy the long term relationships that are built with each client. I understand that as their businesses grow, so should the efforts and methods of presenting their message to their target audience. It's all about consulting and managing this area for each diverse client so that their visual branding clearly and creatively says what it should say to the people that it should be said to every step of the way."
Erika's daily inspiration is God and her family. She is the mother of three creative little ones with plenty of thoughts to share and the wife of a passionate man with a strong ability to execute high impact community outreach programs and events.
